# Engagement Metrics | Backstage Insights

> Understand the engagement metrics shown on BeatPass track insight pages.

Engagement metrics explain how people listen, not just how often they press play. BeatPass currently exposes this layer on **Track Insights** only.

## Current Engagement Metrics

    The average amount of time listeners stay with the track.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Avg Completion Rate" icon="chart-pie">
    The average share of the track that gets heard.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Total Listen Time" icon="clock">
    Combined listening time across the selected range.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Completed Listens" icon="circle-check">
    BeatPass currently treats a listen above 80% as completed.
  </Card>

## Track-Only Sections

    A summary block that turns the raw engagement metrics into a quick quality read.

  <Accordion title="Listen Duration">
    Shows average listening duration along with trend information.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Completion Breakdown">
    Splits listening behavior into bands such as completed, mostly, half, partial, and skipped.
  </Accordion>

## Quality Labels

The engagement overview can show labels such as **High Engagement**, **Good Engagement**, **Moderate Engagement**, or **Low Engagement** based on the current track data.

## States You May Encounter

* **No engagement data yet** when the track does not have enough engagement history.
* **Engagement tracking coming soon** when the deeper engagement layer is not available for that track yet.
