## What Happens When You Upgrade

### If You Apply It Immediately

* The new plan starts right away
* BeatPass can charge only the difference for the rest of the current billing period
* Future renewals use the new plan price

### If You Apply It On Renewal Date

* BeatPass keeps your current plan active until your renewal date
* The new plan takes over on that date
* No immediate upgrade charge is required

***

## Requirements for Upgrading

If BeatPass does not have a usable payment method for an immediate charge, the confirmation page schedules the upgrade for your renewal date instead.
