# Browse Filters

> Understand when search, genre, and artist filters appear on BeatPass browse pages.

Some browse pages include filters at the top that let you narrow results by keyword, genre, or artist. These filters are optional — they only appear when the page supports them.

## When Filters Appear

Filters are shown on standalone browse pages where the content type supports filtering. You will not see filters when:

* The page is a nested section inside a larger page.
* The page only shows sub-sections rather than direct content.
* Filtering is not enabled for that page.

## Available Filters

Depending on what a page displays, you may see some or all of these:

| Filter          | What it does                           | Appears on                   |
| --------------- | -------------------------------------- | ---------------------------- |
| **Search…**     | Text search within the current results | All filterable pages         |
| **All Genres**  | Narrow by genre                        | Track and album browse pages |
| **All Artists** | Narrow by artist                       | Track and album browse pages |

Artist-only browse pages show **Search…** and **All Genres** but not the artist filter. Playlist, user, and genre pages show **Search…** only.
