# Subscriber Quick Start

> Get started as a paid subscriber on BeatPass.

This guide is for paid subscribers who want to download licensed beats and manage plan-based features correctly.

## Step 1: Know What Your Subscription Unlocks

Paid plans add:

* Licensed downloads for eligible tracks
* License certificates in **Your library** → **Licenses**
* Perpetual rights for the beats you downloaded while subscribed
* Plan-based premium features such as beat request tokens

<Note>
  Check [Plans & Pricing](/help/plans-and-pricing) for the current plan matrix. Avoid relying on old summaries that treat every paid plan as identical.
</Note>

## Step 2: Download Your First Beat

<Steps>
  <Step title="Find a track you want to use">
    Browse the catalog, search, or open a producer page.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Use the download action">
    On an eligible track, click **Download**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Let BeatPass complete the license flow">
    BeatPass will generate the appropriate licensed download flow for that track and your account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check your certificate">
    Open **Your library** → **Licenses** to view the license entry and certificate.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Step 3: Understand the Standard Rules

BeatPass's standard subscription license is not "do anything forever" access. A few practical rules matter immediately:

* Attribution is required
* Each download is tied to BeatPass licensing terms
* Content ID registration is not allowed under the standard non-exclusive license

## Step 4: Manage Billing

Use **Billing** from the avatar menu to:

* Review **Current plan**
* Use **Change plan**
* Use **Cancel plan**
* Update your card from the payment-method section

## Step 5: Use Subscriber-Specific Tools

Depending on your plan, you may also want to:

* Create beat requests with your plan's token allowance
* Track your licenses from the library
* Save playlists for release planning or creative direction
