# Beat Request Notifications

> Understand submission, matching, and request-opportunity notifications for Beat Requests.

The **Beat Requests** category mixes request-owner updates with producer opportunity alerts.

| Notification                | Who can receive it | Trigger                                                  |
| --------------------------- | ------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Beat Submissions**        | Everyone           | A producer submits a beat to your request                |
| **No Submissions Received** | Everyone           | Your request closes without any submissions              |
| **Matching Requests**       | Producers          | A beat request matches your style                        |
| **Request Expiring**        | Producers          | A beat request you may want to answer is about to expire |

## How To Read This Category

* If you create requests, the owner-facing notifications are **Beat Submissions** and **No Submissions Received**
* If you are a producer looking for opportunities, the producer-facing notifications are **Matching Requests** and **Request Expiring**
