# Following Notifications

> Understand the New Uploads notification category for followed producers.

The **Following** category currently contains a single notification type:

| Notification    | Who can receive it | Trigger                                 |
| --------------- | ------------------ | --------------------------------------- |
| **New Uploads** | Everyone           | A producer you follow uploads new beats |

To receive this notification, you need to follow the producer first.

## Recommended Use

* Enable **In-App** if you want low-friction update tracking
* Add **Email** or **Push** if you want faster release alerts from producers you follow closely
