# Choosing a Plan

> Find the BeatPass subscription that matches your request volume, support needs, and budget.

Use this guide to pick the current BeatPass plan that matches your request volume, support needs, and budget without relying on old plan descriptions.

## Quick Decision Guide

  <Accordion title="I only need free access right now">
    Choose **Explorer**. It is the free plan behind non-paid accounts and currently includes playlists, messaging, notifications, lyrics, and **1** beat request each month.

  <Accordion title="I want the lowest-cost paid plan">
    Choose **Classic** at **\$29 CAD/month**. It is the entry paid plan and currently includes unlimited non-exclusive downloads, **1** request token, and enhanced email/chat support.

  <Accordion title="I need more than 1 request per month">
    Choose **Plus** if **3** request tokens are enough, or **Pro** if you need **5**.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I want the current recommended paid plan">
    Choose **Plus**. It is currently marked as the recommended paid plan in the live product catalog.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I care most about support level">
    Choose **Pro** if you need **Priority Support**. Choose **Classic** or **Plus** if enhanced email/chat support is enough.

## What Should Drive Your Decision

* Pick **Explorer** if you are still browsing and do not need paid-plan downloads.
* Pick **Classic** if downloads matter but you only need **1** request token.
* Pick **Plus** if your main upgrade reason is moving from **1** request token to **3**.
* Pick **Pro** if you need **5** request tokens and **Priority Support**.

  Do not choose **Pro** only for **Studio services** or **Mixing & Mastering**. Those two items are still marked **coming soon** in the live plan configuration.

## Billing Notes

* Paid plans are billed monthly in **CAD**.
* You can upgrade, downgrade, cancel, or renew from **Billing**.
* BeatPass adds a platform fee (**12% + \$3.00 flat**) on top of the plan price at checkout. The fee is shown before you confirm payment. [Learn more →](/help/billing/platform-fee)
