# Activity

> Review performance overview cards, yearly upload activity, and download engagement for your artist.

The **Activity** page shows how your artist profile is performing over time. It combines long-range performance cards, a current-year upload graph, and a download panel with time filters.

## How to Get Here

Click your **profile avatar** → **Backstage**, then select **Activity** in the sidebar.

## Main Sections

## Performance Overview

The first section is labelled **All Time** in the app, so it covers long-term trends rather than short campaign windows.

| Card               | What it shows                                          |
| ------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Total Tracks**   | Current catalog size and recent additions              |
| **Total Plays**    | Lifetime play total plus the current comparison change |
| **Platform Share** | Your contribution share and contribution points        |
| **Achievements**   | Achievement totals and recent achievement activity     |

## Activity Overview

The middle section is a year view of your upload activity.

### How the Graph Works

* Each square represents one day in the current year
* Darker squares mean more uploads on that day
* Hover a square on desktop to see a tooltip
* Select a day to open a details panel with exact upload count and up to five tracks from that date

### X-Ray Mode

Toggle **X-Ray** to add comparison context:

* Your upload activity stays highlighted
* Broader platform activity appears behind days where you had no uploads
* The info button explains the colour logic used in the graph

## Downloads & Engagement

The bottom section focuses on download activity around your catalog.

### Summary Cards

| Card             | What it tracks                                |
| ---------------- | --------------------------------------------- |
| **Downloads**    | Total downloads in the selected period        |
| **Unique Users** | Distinct users in that period                 |
| **This Week**    | Current weekly download count                 |
| **Top Track**    | Best-performing track for the selected period |

### Period Filters

Switch between **7D**, **30D**, **90D**, and **All** to adjust the time window.

### Recent Download List

Each row can include:

* The downloader profile
* The downloaded track with a direct link
* A relative time showing how long ago the download happened
* A license action when a certificate can be opened for that download

## Empty and Error States

    Cards stay near zero until your artist has uploaded music and started collecting plays or downloads.

  <Accordion title="No downloads in the selected period" icon="download">
    The download list stays empty until activity exists for the selected filter.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Analytics could not be loaded" icon="triangle-exclamation">
    The page shows a real error state instead of placeholder metrics.
  </Accordion>
