# Leaderboards

> See how rankings work, switch between categories, and understand what each leaderboard measures.

The **Leaderboards** page compares your artist profile against other BeatPass producers across seven categories. It is a comparison tool, not a guarantee of promotion or visibility.

<Note>
  This feature is available to accounts with producer privileges. [Learn about the Producer Program](/help/producer-program).
</Note>

## How to Get Here

Click your **profile avatar** → **Backstage**, then select **Leaderboards** in the sidebar.

## How to Read the Page

### Your Rank Card

If BeatPass can place your artist in the current leaderboard response, the header shows your rank. Otherwise a dash appears instead.

### Category Switching

Select a category to change the ranking view. The page keeps previous results visible while the next category loads so you do not lose context during the refresh.

### Ranking Layout

The results area is split into:

* A **top placement section** for the highest-ranked producers
* A larger **ranking list** for the rest of the returned entries

Each row can include producer identity, rank, category score, and supporting metadata. Select **How it works** to open the in-app rankings guide explaining the scoring logic.

## Things to Keep in Mind

* Rankings change as source data updates
* Strong placement in one category does not guarantee strong placement in another
* Metadata quality matters even when it does not immediately increase plays
* Not every producer appears in every returned ranking list

<Tip>
  To improve your standing, start with the category description, then open the dashboard page that can improve that signal — for example, [My Beats](/help/producer-dashboard/tracks) for quality and uploads, or [Progress](/help/producer-dashboard/progress) for points.
</Tip>
