# Growing as a Producer on BeatPass

> Actionable strategies for producers to grow their audience, increase plays, and maximize earnings on BeatPass.

Whether you are newly approved or already building a catalog, growth on BeatPass comes from consistent uploads, accurate metadata, and keeping your beats easy to discover and license.

***

## Upload Consistently

Consistency is one of the biggest growth factors on BeatPass.

* **Recent activity matters** — The [contribution system](/help/earnings/contribution-system/formula) applies time decay, so new activity helps your catalog stay competitive
* **Catalog depth helps** — More strong beats give subscribers and buyers more chances to find something that fits
* **Aim for a sustainable rhythm** — The producer request form currently asks you to commit to at least 2 beats per month

<Tip>
  Quality still matters more than raw volume. A small, well-maintained catalog usually outperforms a large catalog full of incomplete uploads.

## Complete Your Metadata

Metadata is one of the easiest growth levers because it improves searchability and makes your beats easier to license.

## Promote Your Music

BeatPass gives you the hosting and licensing tools, but outside promotion still matters.

### On Social Media

* Share direct links to your tracks and profile
* Post when you publish something new
* Give listeners context about the vibe, intended artist, or project
* Stay responsive when people engage with your releases

### Inside BeatPass

* Respond to beat requests that match your style
* Keep top-performing beats updated with better descriptions, tags, and artwork
* Offer exclusive options on beats that deserve premium positioning

## Review What Is Working

The producer workspace can change over time, but the growth questions stay the same:

* Which beats are getting the most plays?
* Which tracks keep earning over multiple payout cycles?
* Which uploads need better cover art or clearer tags?
* Which collections or collaborations are creating momentum?

Use those answers to decide what to upload next and which older tracks should be refreshed.

***

## Use Collaborations Intentionally

Collaborations expand your reach, but they also change how subscription revenue is attributed.

* Collaborative beats appear on every credited producer profile
* Contribution value is split equally across credited producers
* The uploader still manages the track, audio, and licensing settings

See [Collaborations](/help/uploading/collaborations) for the current collaboration rules.

***

## Organize Your Catalog

Use collections when they help the listener understand the release:

* Beat packs
* Themed series
* Seasonal drops
* Producer showcases

Collection tracks inherit artists, genres, and tags when uploaded, which can save time and keep a release consistent.

## Optimize Your Profile

Your producer profile is still your storefront:

* Write a clear bio
* Upload a professional photo and strong visuals
* Add professional credits where relevant
* Apply for verification if you are eligible

Verification adds a blue verified badge and unlocks features like Audio Recon and beat request alerts. See [Get Verified](/help/producer-program/application-types/get-verified) for the process.
