Before applying to the BeatPass Producer Program, make sure you have the information BeatPass requires. The exact requirements vary depending on whether you are creating a new producer profile, claiming an existing one, or getting verified. *** ## Basic Requirements ### BeatPass Account You need a registered BeatPass account. If you do not have one yet, create one first. ### Link to Your Beats For **Become a Producer** and **Claim Existing Artist** requests, you must provide a public URL where the team can review your work. Common examples include: * SoundCloud profile or playlist * YouTube channel or playlist * Spotify artist page * BeatStars, Airbit, or similar platform * Any public URL where your beats can be heard BeatPass uses this link for quality review. Make sure it is public, loads correctly, and clearly represents your work. ### Real Name The request form requires your real **First name** and **Last name**. This is used for identity review and later payout onboarding. *** ## Rights & Ownership ### Original Content You must have the right to upload the music you plan to publish on BeatPass. That means one of the following is true: * You created the beats yourself * You have proper licensing for any samples you used * You have written permission to distribute the music Your beats must also comply with BeatPass's human-made audio standard: * Fully AI-generated beats are not permitted. * AI may assist your workflow, but it cannot replace your role as the producer. * AI samples or generated elements must be commercially licensable through BeatPass. * You must be able to provide Proof of Rights for AI material, samples, loops, vocals, artwork, and other source material if requested. See [AI Audio and Human-Made Content](/help/legal/ai-audio-human-made-content) for the current AI policy. ### Non-Exclusive License Agreement By applying, you confirm that BeatPass can host, distribute, license, issue certificates for, and verify your music on the platform under the applicable BeatPass terms. You keep ownership of your work. The [Producer Upload and Seller Agreement](/help/legal/producer-upload-seller-agreement) summarizes the upload, catalog, proof-of-rights, licensing-authority, payout, and enforcement obligations that apply when producers list beats on BeatPass. *** ## Upload Commitment The current request form includes a checkbox where you confirm that you will upload at least **2 beats per month**. Treat this as part of the application agreement, not as general marketing copy. *** ## Optional but Recommended ### Instagram Handle Providing your Instagram handle can help BeatPass verify your identity and connect your request to your public producer presence. ### Record Label or Company If you are signed to a label or represent a company, you can include this information. It is optional. ### Profile Picture The current request form includes a profile picture picker only in the **Claim Existing Artist** flow. The **Become a Producer** form does not include this field. ### Supporting Materials You can attach additional files such as: * Press photos * Label paperwork * Screenshots or documents that support your claim * Any other verification material relevant to your request *** ## Terms Agreement You must agree to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Producer Upload and Seller Agreement, and producer program requirements covering ownership, licensing, AI/human-made content, Proof of Rights, and the upload commitment. *** ## Requirements by Application Type | Requirement | Become a Producer | Claim Existing Artist | Get Verified | | ------------------------- | :---------------: | :-------------------: | :---------------: | | BeatPass account | Yes | Yes | Yes | | Existing producer profile | No | No | Yes (Required) | | Public beats link | Yes | Yes | No | | Real first and last name | Yes | Yes | No | | Producer name | Yes | No | No | | Select existing profile | No | Yes | No | | Role selection | No | Yes | No | | Optional Instagram handle | Yes | Yes | No | | Optional attachments | Yes | Yes | No | | Discord participation | Optional | Optional | Yes (Required) | | Submission form | Yes | Yes | No (Discord only) | **Get Verified** is not a form submission. It directs you to the BeatPass Discord where staff manually verify producers through community participation. You must already have a producer profile to see this option. *** ## Get Verified Specific Requirements The **Get Verified** path has unique requirements: ### Prerequisites * You must already have an approved producer profile * The **Get Verified** option only appears if you have producer access ### Discord Process * Join the BeatPass Discord community * Use a Discord name matching your BeatPass producer profile (recommended) * Participate actively so staff can identify you * Wait for staff to grant the BeatPass producer Discord role * Staff then manually mark your BeatPass profile as verified ### No Form Submission Unlike the other paths, **Get Verified** has no application form. The verification screen shows **Verify Through Discord** with a **Join Discord Community** button that directs you to Discord. *** ## What Happens If You Do Not Meet Requirements If your request is missing required information or does not meet review standards, BeatPass can deny it. You can then: * Update your materials * Provide stronger supporting information * Reapply when you are ready If your producer access is revoked after a previous approval, new submissions are blocked. In that case, contact BeatPass support to submit an appeal for admin review. If a profile shows **Already Claimed** during the claim flow, you cannot finish that request through the normal form.
