# Verified Badge

> Learn what the verified badge means on BeatPass and how it applies to your producer profile.

# Verified Badge <Icon icon="circle-check" color="#449eff" />

The verified badge marks a producer profile that BeatPass has confirmed as authentic.

## Where It Appears

When a producer profile is verified, the badge appears:

* Next to your producer name on the producer profile header
* On producer listing cards when browsing producers
* On the linked user profile for that verified producer

## What Verification Means

The badge indicates:

* **Authentic identity** — BeatPass staff has verified the profile as the real producer or brand
* **Community participation** — The producer is active in the BeatPass Discord community
* **Account trust** — Visitors can distinguish the page from impersonation or confusion

  Verification is about authenticity and community involvement, not popularity. It is not a ranking badge.

## How to Get Verified

Verification requires an approved producer profile and participation in the BeatPass Discord community.

### Steps

    Click **Apply to Join** (if logged in) or **Apply Now** (if not logged in) on the Producer Program page.

    On the request selector, select **Get Verified** from the available options.

    The verification screen shows **Verify Through Discord** and a **Join Discord Community** button. Click the button to join the BeatPass Discord server.

  <Step title="Participate in Discord">
    Use a Discord name that matches your BeatPass producer profile name when possible — this helps staff identify you faster.

  <Step title="Wait for staff verification">
    BeatPass staff identify active producers in Discord, grant you a BeatPass producer Discord role, and manually mark your profile as verified. The blue checkmark appears after staff completes this process.

### Timeline

Most verifications complete within **1–3 business days**. Using the same name on Discord as your BeatPass producer profile helps speed up the process.

  There is no in-app submission form for verification. The **Get Verified** flow is a handoff to Discord, where staff manually verify producers through community participation.
</Note>

## Verified-Only Features

Once verified, you gain access to additional platform capabilities:

* **Audio Recon** — Audio analysis and similarity-detection tools
* **Producer Dashboard notifications** — New Subscribers, Analytics Reports, and Payout Updates
* **Beat request notifications** — Automatic notifications when new beat requests match your style

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Can I lose my verified badge?

Yes. BeatPass can revoke verification if the account no longer meets platform requirements, authenticity standards, or community guidelines.

### Does verification cost anything?

No. Verification is free and handled through Discord community participation.

### Do I need a producer profile first?

Yes. The **Get Verified** option only appears if you already have an approved producer profile. If you don't have one yet, choose **Become a Producer** instead.

## Verification vs Subscription

Verification and paid plans serve different purposes:
