# Social Features

> Understand how following, comments, reposts, and sharing work across BeatPass.

BeatPass includes a small set of public social features that work across profiles, producer pages, tracks, albums, and playlists. This section covers the features that are currently exposed in the web player: following, comments, reposts, and sharing.

## Included Features

## Where These Features Appear

| Surface            | Social actions currently exposed                                                                      |
| ------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **User profiles**  | Follow or unfollow the user, open public follower/following tabs, start a message if you're logged in |
| **Producer pages** | Follow the producer, share the page, message the claimed owner when available                         |
| **Tracks**         | Leave waveform-linked comments, reply to comments, repost, share, embed                               |
| **Albums**         | Leave standard comments, repost, share, embed                                                         |
| **Playlists**      | Share the playlist link                                                                               |

## What Social Features Do Not Include

* BeatPass does not currently expose a separate follower activity feed page.
* Embeds are available for **tracks** and **albums** only, not producer pages or playlists.
* Reposts depend on the repost feature being enabled for the current BeatPass installation.
