What Editorial Inclusion Means
- BeatPass administrators choose and manage the tracks in an editorial collection.
- A producer does not need to move a track out of its original album or collection.
- Editorial inclusion does not transfer ownership, change the track’s license settings, or alter its original credits.
- A track can appear in an editorial collection and its regular producer-managed release at the same time.
Who Can Create or Edit One
Editorial collection creation and curation are administrative BeatPass actions. Producer access does not include controls for creating, editing, or guaranteeing placement in these collections.Editorial Collection vs. Album vs. Playlist
What Producers Should Do
- Keep artwork, credits, genres, tags, and descriptions accurate.
- Maintain the original track and collection instead of creating duplicates for editorial use.
- Treat editorial inclusion as discovery exposure, not as a promise of plays, revenue, or future placement.
