The Producer Finances page is the current payout hub for producers. It shows the payout setup available to your account, balance summaries, and earnings history without requiring you to leave BeatPass.

What You See First

If Payout Setup Is Not Finished

BeatPass shows an onboarding panel with:
  • The page title Producer Finances
  • A setup overview for payout-enabled revenue streams
  • Set up BEATPAY to add your bank account and start receiving payouts

If Payout Setup Is Ready

You see the normal finances dashboard. If you manage more than one producer profile, BeatPass can also show an artist selector at the top of the page.

Account Overview

The top summary card is called Account Overview and uses four stat cards. What they show depends on your payout setup. With BEATPAY bank payouts: With a legacy Stripe Connect account:

Other Details on This Section

  • BeatPass shows an Updated timestamp when cached finance data was last refreshed
  • If the account has more than one balance currency, the page can show a Multi-currency account warning
  • If the history is truncated for performance, the page can show Showing last 1,000 transactions
  • If BEATPAY is available, the page can show Live Exchange Rate details for the selected currencies
The page focuses on summary information. It does not expose every raw payout-provider field or every internal payout-calculation field inside the UI.

Transactions

The main history area is called Transactions and includes filter tabs for:
  • All
  • Sales
  • Subscriptions
  • Paid
  • Pending
  • Failed

Status Labels You Can See

Rows in the transaction list can show these user-facing statuses:
The current UI does not include a separate Excluded filter tab, and it does not provide a click-to-open full transaction breakdown drawer for each row.

Pending Banner

If you have pending items, BeatPass can show a banner like: X queued • payouts move automatically That banner is a quick signal that payouts are still moving through the system without any extra action from you.

How Earnings Work

At the bottom of the page, BeatPass currently shows a How Earnings Work section that explains three sources:
  • Track Sales
  • Subscription Payouts
  • Bonus Payouts
This section is explanatory. It is meant to help you understand why money appears in your history, not to replace the transaction list itself.

Practical Tips

  • Use Lifetime (or Balance on a legacy Stripe account) to see what you have received so far
  • Use Queued and Sending (or Upcoming) when you want to know what is still moving
  • Use the Subscriptions filter when reviewing subscription-based earnings only
  • Use the Sales filter when checking direct track purchases only
  • Keep an eye on Setup required, Held, Failed, or Excluded signals because those are the clearest warnings that something needs attention
  • Follow Set up BEATPAY if your payout setup is not finished yet

Common Questions

BeatPass can show separate readiness for exclusive sales and subscription earnings. Return to Finances and complete any remaining prompt for the earnings stream you want to activate.
On subscription payouts, Paid means the BeatPass-side payout step completed. Bank arrival still follows the timing of the active payout route and your bank.
Not from a dedicated tab today. Excluded appears as a status on the affected transaction rows.
Finances data is cached for performance. BeatPass shows the refresh time so you can tell when the current snapshot was last updated.
