Once your request is approved, you gain access to the Producer Dashboard and upload tools. This page covers the practical next steps so your account, catalog, and payouts are set up correctly.

What Changes After Approval

Once your request is approved:
  • Your account gains producer permissions
  • You can upload beats and collections
  • You can configure licensing for your tracks
  • You become eligible for producer earnings
  • You can set up payouts from Finances

First Steps

1. Access Your Producer Dashboard

Click your profile avatar and select Backstage to open your Producer Dashboard. The sidebar includes Dashboard, Finances, Activity, Progress, Leaderboards, My Beats, and My Collections.
The Backstage menu item only appears after approval when you have producer permissions.

2. Complete Your Producer Profile

Make your profile more trustworthy and easier to discover:
  • Upload a high-quality profile picture
  • Add a bio describing your style and sound
  • Link your social accounts
  • Add photos to your about section if you use them

3. Set Up Payouts

To receive earnings, complete the payout setup shown in Finances:
  1. Open your producer Finances area
  2. Click Set up BEATPAY
  3. Choose your payout currency and enter the bank details requested for that currency
You can upload immediately after approval, but BeatPass needs a completed payout setup before it can pay you out.

Upload Your First Beat

1

Open the upload page

Start from your producer workspace and go to the upload tools.
2

Add your beat file

Drag and drop or choose your audio file. The current producer upload flow only accepts WAV files.
3

Fill in the required fields

Add cover art, at least one genre, track name, artists, BPM, key, and scale. Add a Sample-Safe status and AI use declaration under Protection & Verification.
4

Choose a licensing model

Choose from the licensing models available for every credited producer. Some new accounts can publish Exclusive Only before standard subscription licensing is active. Exclusive offers also require a contact email, terms, stems, and a delivery guarantee.
5

Save

Wait for the fingerprint check to finish, then click Save Track.

Build Your Catalog

Cover Art Is Required

New tracks and new collections both need cover art before they can be saved. BeatPass supports custom uploads and genre-matched cover art presets.

Complete the Core Metadata

For each beat, make sure you fill in:
  • Track Name
  • Artists
  • Key
  • Scale
  • BPM (50–200)
Descriptions, tags, and collection assignments are optional. Cover art, at least one genre, Sample-Safe status, AI declaration, and a completed fingerprint check are required for a new track.

Use Collections Where It Helps

If you release beat packs, tapes, or themed drops, use Create Collection on the upload page. Collection tracks inherit the collection’s artists, genres, and tags when they are first uploaded.

Understand Your Earnings

As an approved producer, you can earn from:
  • Subscription contribution when standard licensing is active for every credited producer
  • Exclusive sales when buyers purchase your configured exclusive option
For exclusive sales, the buyer pays the platform fee on top of your listed price. Your producer finances area records the sale, payout readiness, and payout setup status.

XP You Start Earning Automatically

BeatPass currently awards: BeatPass tracks this automatically. You do not need to claim XP manually.

Get Verified

If you want the verified badge and its benefits:
  1. Go to the Producer Program page
  2. Click Apply to Join
  3. On the request selector, choose Get Verified
  4. Follow the Discord community verification process

Promote Your Beats

Once your beats are live:
  • Share links to your profile and tracks on social media
  • Add your BeatPass profile link to your bios
  • Respond to beat requests that match your style
  • Keep older tracks updated if you improve metadata or artwork
