BeatPass has a consistent layout across pages — a top navigation bar, a sidebar, a player bar, and different content areas depending on where you are. What you see may vary slightly by account type and screen size.Documentation Index

Top Navigation Bar
The top bar is a floating pill at the top of the screen. From left to right, you’ll find:- Search — type to find beats, producers, collections, playlists, and tags
- Action buttons — these change based on your account:
- Not a producer? You’ll see Upload Beats (links to the Producer Program) and Subscribe (links to pricing)
- Approved producer? You’ll see Upload beats (goes directly to the upload page)
- Messages — a chat icon for messaging (when logged in)
- Notifications — a bell icon showing your unread notification count
- Profile avatar — opens your account menu
Profile Avatar Menu
Click your profile avatar to open the account menu. The available items include:| Item | What it does |

| Edit Profile | Opens your account settings |
| Backstage | Opens the Producer Dashboard (producers only) |
| Profile page | Opens your public user profile |
| Artist profile | Opens your producer page (producers only) |
| Notifications | Opens notifications (on mobile) |
| Billing | Opens subscription and payment settings |
| Dark mode / Light mode | Switches the interface theme |
| Log out | Signs you out |
Some menu items only appear for specific account types. For example, Backstage and Artist profile are only visible to approved producers.
Sidebar
On desktop, the left sidebar gives you quick access to:- Site logo — click to return to the homepage
- Primary navigation — links to main sections like discovery, your library, and other areas
- Your Music — quick links to your personal content
- Playlists — your playlists with a button to create new ones
Your Library
Your library is where saved and account-linked content lives. Access it from the sidebar. Available sections include:| Section | What’s inside |

Some sections like Licenses only show content if you have a paid subscription and have downloaded beats.
Discovery
Use discovery surfaces to explore and find new music:- Homepage — curated recommendations and featured content
- Search — find beats, producers, collections, playlists, and tags
- Producer pages — browse a producer’s catalog, biography, and credits
- Track pages — view details, play, and access licensing for individual beats
- Collections — browse grouped tracks (albums and collections)
Producer Tools
If you’re an approved producer, you also have access to:- Backstage (Producer Dashboard) — click your profile avatar, then select Backstage
- Upload page — click Upload beats in the top navigation bar
Player Bar
When music is playing, a player bar appears at the bottom of the screen with these controls:| Control | What it does |

| Previous | Go to previous track |
| Play / Pause | Start or pause playback |
| Next | Skip to the next track |
| Repeat | Loop the current track or queue |
| Seekbar | Scrub through the current track |
| Lyrics | Open lyrics for the current track (when available) |
| Download | Download the current track (paid subscribers) |
| Queue | View and manage what’s playing next |
| Volume | Adjust playback volume |
| Expand | Open the full-screen player overlay |
Keyboard Shortcuts

Mobile Navigation
On smaller screens, BeatPass adjusts the layout:- The top bar becomes a compact pill with search, notifications, messages, and your avatar
- A more actions button reveals upload and subscription links
- The bottom bar provides quick navigation between main sections
- The player expands into a full-screen mobile playback view when tapped
