BeatPass supports multiple currencies for producer pricing and payout tracking. The most important rule is simple: your listed track price is your price, and the platform fee is added on top at checkout.

Supported Pricing Currencies

BeatPass currently supports these currencies for track purchase pricing:
Current paid BeatPass subscription plans are listed in CAD.

For Producers

Setting Track Prices

  • Choose the pricing currency that fits your audience and catalog strategy
  • Buyers see your listed price plus the platform fee at checkout
  • BeatPass does not deduct the platform fee from your listed price

What You See in Finances

Producer Finances can show:
  • A primary balance currency
  • Multi-currency warnings when your account has balances in more than one currency
  • Mixed-currency transaction history depending on what you sold and how the active payment or payout provider recorded it

For Buyers

If the purchase currency does not match the card or bank’s currency, conversion can happen outside BeatPass. The exact outcome depends on Stripe and the buyer’s bank.

Payout Currency Expectations

Your payout flow depends on the active payout route for your producer account. BEATPAY can show exchange-rate context when Wise-powered bank payouts are available, while Stripe Connect continues to use Stripe-managed balances.
BeatPass does not publish a fixed currency-conversion fee in help docs because conversion behavior can vary by payout provider, currency pair, and payout destination.

Practical Tips

  • Use a pricing currency your buyers already understand
  • Check Producer Finances for mixed-currency warnings
  • Expect the active payment or payout provider and your bank to control most conversion details after checkout
  • Review the payout setup shown in Finances if you need a different payout arrangement

Common Questions

Each priced track uses one configured pricing currency at a time.
Yes. BeatPass can surface a multi-currency warning in Producer Finances when your account has balances in more than one currency.
The active payment or payout provider and the payout destination handle most of that behavior, not the BeatPass help system.
Not necessarily. Current paid BeatPass plans are listed in CAD, while track pricing supports USD, EUR, GBP, and CAD.
