Protection & Verification
Choose your beat’s sample clearance status:Cleared
The beat is 100% original or all samples are fully cleared.
Needs Clearance
The beat contains samples that still require outside clearance.
AI Use & Rights Verification
BeatPass policy requires every beat to be human-made and not fully AI-generated. AI can assist production, but it cannot replace the producer’s role in making the beat. Dedicated AI self-evaluation and attestation fields are planned as a separate product update. Until those fields are available in the upload form, producers should:- avoid uploading fully AI-generated beats
- keep records for any AI tool, model, service, plug-in, or generated element used
- verify that the tool and account plan allow commercial use, sale, distribution, licensing, and BeatPass consumer use
- keep source notes, receipts, screenshots, tool terms, plan records, generation records, project files, stems, and written permissions when relevant
- be ready to provide Proof of Rights if BeatPass requests it
Licensing Options
This section is collapsed by default and automatically set to Standard Licensing (non-exclusive). You don’t need to open it to save your beat. If you want to offer exclusive licensing, expand the section and choose a model:| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Standard Licensing | Available to all BeatPass users (default) |
| Standard + Exclusive | Offer both standard licensing and exclusive purchase |
| Exclusive Only | Offer the beat only as an exclusive opportunity |
- Exclusive price and currency (USD, EUR, GBP, or CAD)
- Exclusive status — Available, Sold, or Private
- Exclusive contact email (auto-filled with your email)
Audio Fingerprint Status
During upload, BeatPass shows these fingerprint states:| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Upload present but duplicate check hasn’t started |
| Checking | Duplicate detection is starting |
| Analyzing | Audio fingerprint is being analyzed |
| Verified Unique | No duplicate found |
| Check Failed | Duplicate check failed, but you can still continue |
A failed duplicate check does not block your upload. BeatPass fails open in this situation — you can still save the track.
Saving Your Upload
When the required fields are complete, click to save your beat. For collection uploads:- The collection itself needs its own cover art
- Each track still needs its own audio file
Upload Minutes
Your plan determines how many minutes of audio you can upload. A notice at the top of the page shows your remaining minutes. If you run out, consider upgrading your plan for more upload capacity.Tips
