Notifications

Understand where BeatPass notifications appear and how notification preferences are organized.

BeatPass notifications can appear in three delivery channels and are organized by account role. Members get core account notifications, producers unlock creator-specific alerts, and verified producers unlock additional advanced categories.

Delivery Channels

Channel	What it does
Email	Sends notification emails to the address on your BeatPass account
Push	Sends push notifications to supported browsers and devices after permission is granted
In-App	Shows notifications in the bell menu and the full notifications page

Where Notifications Appear

Surface	What it is for
Bell icon	Quick view of recent notifications and unread count
Notifications page	Full notification list (open from the bell menu)
Notification Preferences	Channel toggles and bulk controls (open from the gear icon in the bell menu)

Role-Based Access

Account role	Categories available
Member	Following, Social, Messages, Beat Requests, Promotions
Producer	Everything above plus Producer Activity, Earnings & Licensing, Achievements
Verified Producer	Everything above plus Audio Recon and Producer Dashboard

In the current settings UI, member accounts do not see artist-only groups, and non-verified producers can see verified-only groups as locked previews.
